MONSTER SQUAD
The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP honors its ancestry while transforming into a powerful pick-up worthy of any road trip.

With the world seemingly going crazier and crazier, some city dwellers have decided to race for the hills, both figuratively and literally, thus boosting the market for sturdy and beefy road vehicles. So within the ranking, arguably, right at the top is the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP GWagen, what the elite German aftermarket tuner calls a "pick-up supercar."
Brabus, famous for its touch-ups with the iconic Tristar, starts with the already excellent new-generation Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG and gets down to business: first extending the wheelbase of its 20-inch ladder frame to mount a box. carbon steel pickup truck inspired by the AMG G63 6x6. This elongated chassis allows Brabus to keep the original cabin fully intact, while ultimately making the truck 27.1 inches longer than an original G 63. With supreme skill, Brabus engineers were able to sacrifice cabin space or rear legroom while retaining full torsional stiffness.
Additionally, Brabus turned its attention to the suspension, tailoring its titanium-coated aluminum roll-up deck with portal axles specifically for the 800 Adventure XLP. A rare and complex off-road technology, where the axle tube is higher and power is transferred to each corner through gearboxes integrated into each wheel hub. These gantry axles allow for better ground clearance (19.2 inches), maximum wheel articulation, and improved gearing. Ideal features to dominate the off-road. Using the Dynamic Select switch, native to the current G-Wagen, the driver can easily control the Brabus suspension from the warm, dry comfort of the cab, even raising and lowering the ride height.
Of course, it wouldn't be a Brabus without the engine upgrades - two high-performance turbochargers replace the stock fans, while adding a larger compressor and new engine mapping. This 800 PowerXtra specification upgrades the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine to generate 800 hp and 737 pound-feet of torque, with a maximum available torque of 3,600 rpm.
This makes the 800 Adventure XLP one of the most powerful in the world. While its 4.8-second 0-100km / h figure is certainly respectable for a true off-road vehicle, the supersports truck's top speed is limited to 200km / h due to its dizzying center of gravity and robust Pirelli Scorpion tires. ATR.
And just to make sure you don't scare any bears in the woods, the Brabus adds a high-performance exhaust with two stainless steel side tailpipes that blow in front of the rear wheels. With a gurgling bypass valve, the Boost Xtra active exhaust fins mean that from a quiet and relaxed ride in the middle of the field, you're back home loud and powerful, just before nightfall.
Unsurprisingly, there are tons of incredible details, like bare carbon fiber chunks and an optional roof rack with quad LED lights; But the most opulent accessory, which some might argue is ridiculous, is the included Wingcopter drone landing pad. Sure, Brabus says the high-performance drone was designed to deliver "urgently needed relief supplies and special equipment" to remote and hard-to-reach locations, but we all know that it really is for striking, one-of-a-kind photos of your next. great adventure in nature.
LEGGED BEAST
When AMG introduced the G 63 6x6 for its 2013 model, the world gasped. Some with horror, some with bewilderment, and some with lust, but none lacked an opinion. Now, less than a decade later, that Geländewagen has evolved into one of the most coveted monsters of steel. Originally developed for the Australian Army, the 6x6 street version was immediately captured and dissected by esteemed aftermarket tuners like Mansory and Brabus, eager to apply their diamond-tipped settings.
Towering 93 inches tall and with no fewer than five lockable, three self-running rigid axles, 37-inch wheels, and dual fuel tanks, the behemoth even features in-cab buttons to deflate and inflate automatically (in just 20 seconds). its off-road tires, which lends credence to the claim that the 6x6 is "the most spectacular off-road vehicle of all time."
Unfortunately for those looking to get hold of one, only around 150 units were built. And considering that none were officially imported to America, this makes custom versions like Brabus's 700 G63 AMG 6x6 extremely rare on the roads. Perhaps that is why more than $ 2 million is currently being raised at auction.
